What started as a close contest has turned into another lopsided Male victory. Check this out: Ever since Male defeated Trinity 24-10, the Bulldogs outscored their next three opponents by a combined 125-12. Much has been made of Male's offense, but its defense has been every bit as impressive, especially tonight against a top-notch offense.

The best of friends
Nic Schutte and Vinny Anthony have scoredplenty of touchdowns over the years, but there’s one during freshman year that came from a broken play that stands out for both of them.
“We were playing Butler here in a freshman game,” said Schutte. “I rolled out to the left, there wasn’t anything there. I was running around in circles, and then all the sudden he pops open. I launch it up in the endzone, (and) he goes up, gets it, and we score.”
