What to say about the Perot Museum of Nature and Science?This museum is a gem. There is something to do for every age group. The exhibits for children are amazing, as is the playground, full of learning activities activities to discover. We really enjoyed the fabric throwing pipes (not its real name, lol) and the dinosaur exhibit, but it's hard to say what is the best area of the museum, as it's very subjective.There is covered parking, although it is outdoors, so be aware of that.The design of the building itself is certainly something to take a moment to admire before walking in. The customer service was great, and the elevators are spacious and function well.I really recommend it!

We had the best day! Dinosaurs, space, and a children's museum area all in one visit! They have a bird exhibit where you can make your own bird on computers throughout. There are many hands-on, interactive activities for kids (and adults) to enjoy. The 3D movies are fantastic. I highly recommend this place. We liked it so much we decided to get the membership!

Great place to spend a few hours or more. My kids loved it and we could have easily spent hours more there.Lots of hands on interactive experiences. A room to build or create. Cafe on site.Make dinosaurs dance, fly like a bird, design your own bird, robots, watch employees work on fossils and so much more.Little Kids (I’d say 8 under) play area downstairs. With baby/toddler area. Plenty of seating for adults to watch.

It was my first visit here! I had so much fun with my adult children and two grandchildren. Ample parking for 10 bucks, there was a long line for tickets so purchase ahead of time if you can on busy days. We have a membership so no wait at all for us! They even have live music and drinks on Thursday nights 21 & up. Now I'll have to go back and visit on adult night lol.

My 12 year old granddaughter and I surprisingly loved everything.. all the themed attractions including the Pixar experience, the souvenir shop, and all the very very helpful and friendly staff. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves for the 4 hours that we spent there. My granddaughter went her own way for a while and I went mine but mostly we had a grand time together. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

I really liked the limited T Rex special, although was pretty small. Lots of cool information displayed there though.The space exhibit was a bit underwhelming compared to the rest of the floors, but my next favorite room was definitely the minerals and gemstones. Always love seeing them up close, and was fun seeing the geodes.Definitely worth a visit!

Awesome museum! Very interactive and interesting exhibits for all ages. Got a City Pass and it came with a free 3D movie ticket as well. Staff was very friendly and the lunch options onsite were yummy and weren’t too expensive. Would definitely go back as there was so much to see!

My first time there. It blew me away. The Architecture, Engineering and Construction was impeccable. I was blown away by the first impression of the building itself. And I was blown away by the exhibition! So detailed and well executed. Learned a lot and the same time had fun with my date experiencing the spaces together.We had lunch there and the food was great! I love the cafeteria style food court and it was easy and fast. The gift shop was really nice too. Reasonably priced.Will take my nephew and nieces here in the future.

Perot Science Museum was the highlight of our trip to Dallas. Five levels of amazing things to see from every branch of Science--we couldn't see it all in one day! It was a birthday trip, so we let the birthday boy prioritize what he wanted to visit. We came here when he was 3. He wanted to return as a teenager! Our favorite exhibits were the Dinosaurs, Gems and Minerals (spectacular specimens, most simply enormous!), and Innovation exhibits. So many hands-on elements made learning an unforgettable experience. Our energy ran out before our interest did! We hit the gift shop on our way out. There is something for everyone and every price point. We'll return to Perot when our son is an adult. We know it'll still be an awesome experience!

We went tonight for Thursdays on tap from 6-10p - it was our second visit for this event, once last fall and then tonight. We love this event! With grown kids, it’s nice to have the opportunity to visit after work when there aren’t a lot of kids around as the event is for 21+, and alcohol is served on site, inside on each floor. Without a museum membership, admission is $25 per person ($5 if you’re a member). Purchasing tickets in advance is recommended. We arrived right at 6 and there was a bit of line to enter, but as soon as they opened the gates for admission, the line moved quickly. There are about 4-6 food trucks each time with plenty of outdoor and even indoor seating. Some seats by the food trucks, some closer to the entrance, and even some inside. We spent about the first hour eating/waiting for the food to be ready, and then the next 3 hours in the museum.The special exhibit on t-red was really cool, as were the regular exhibits. Recommended to start at the top and go down since you have to anyways, we’ve done both now- top to bottom and bottom to top and prefer the top down. My partner really enjoys the dinosaur exhibits and the earthquake simulator, while I enjoy the rocks and minerals exhibits. But there’s something for everyone, and plenty to see in one or many trips. Worth the money. We brought our adult kids and they had a good time as well, and are already talking about coming again next summer. Definitely recommend this event!!

My grandkids thoroughly enjoyed the museum's diverse exhibits, spanning dinosaurs to history and science, plus an enormous playground. The staff's welcoming demeanor added to our experience. Initially, I planned to buy tickets online but chose to purchase on-site instead, and we encountered no waiting. This museum warrants a repeat visit.

Really awesome place, so much fun and so educational! Personally I think it was great for both adults and kids. A couple hours should be enough to move through the museum, but if you're really into science you could definitely spend more time there!

Great place to spend the day. Lots of interactive stuff. Both educational and entertaining. Kids and adults will enjoy this. Dinosaur fossils, gem and minerals, technology, interactive sports, human body, and much more. If you like museums this won't disappoint.

Amazing amazing experience! My 4 year old daughter and I spent over 5 hours there and didn't get through everything. So many interactive activities and an amazing learning experience even for the little ones!! Ben was amazing and was extremely knowledgeable about just about everything on every floor. I was truly impressed by him!

Great museum. Lots of interactive exhibits. You can race a t-rex, motion control things, lots of activities for the kids and info for adults. Definitely worth a visit if you're into science, and dinosaurs. Try to go early or when they open. It gets busy fast.

We are members of the Perot Museum because the kids are huge fans. We went twice last week and almost went a third time if I would’ve had more time to take them.This place is great even for preschoolers. I love how engaging & interactive the exhibits are designed. I would recommend the Perot to any parent wanting seek something positive for their children to experience.

Came to the Perot Museum for the Thursdays on Tap and had a great time! I took an Uber to the event but my friend drove and paid $10 to park. Entry into the museum was easy and quick and we were provided with drink sleeves! There’s multiple food trucks to purchase food from and spots across the museum for beer, wine, and popcorn! Exploring the museum really awoken my inner child and I thoroughly enjoyed myself!

That was an enjoyable and educational visit, particularly for children. It provided a wealth of knowledge about history, culture, and space. There were engaging activities throughout the visit and a food court with a variety of options. A children's play area surrounded by nature added to the pleasant atmosphere. The venue is well-connected across all floors, and tickets are reasonably priced.

This was a fun find and surprising adventure for sure!My family and I were in Dallas on vacation when we found ourselves looking for local attractions that was a specific to the area we were in. When we came across this little gem, we were excited to check it out.It was a tad pricey for our 1 day adventure for seven of us, but worth every penny spent! If I were a local, I would get a membership for sure!It was an absolutely amazing museum!We could have easily spent a day on each of the floors exploring and learning. This museum has a very fun and interactive way for kids to learn about our history and science with playing and tons of interactions.They have a Children's place for kids under the age of 6, and then they have a sports place for kids six and above. My kids are all six and above, and the sports area was where it was at for us!We could have easily spent most the day just in that one room. It was so fun and interactive even for the adults. Kids were able to learn about body heat, kinetics and body motion and how the body functions in general. Absolutely fascinating and so fun for the kids to learn in such an interactive environment.Every single floor had its education, and its activities to help kids with learning the education.I loved how it taught kids that learning can be fun!!!If we ever find myself in Dallas again, you'll bet your buttons we'd be at that museum.

My wife and I went to Thursday on Tap and we had a blast! The food trucks gave a good variety of options to eat and it was fun to be able to walk around the exhibits kid free and with a drink in hand. There was also live music which was a nice touch. We would definitely do it again!

A must visit museum, especially for kids, the dinosaur exhibit is our favorite. The bottom floor has an indoor play area, and the front entrance has a nice seating area. (Is Not a "bring your kids in a bathing suit zone." ). The dinner area feels very simple and small. Defenetly go during the week is pretty empty.
