Garage Door Thresholds | Garage Door Seals (3)The garage door threshold adheres to the concrete where the garage door meets the ground, creating a tight seal for your garage door. With our garage door threshold kits you can create a better garage seal, which is the first step to make your door more energy efficient, in addition to helping keep out driven rain, excess water, pest, dust and pollen. The garage door threshold creates a seal that blocks out the elements by closing the gap between the door and the floor. The tight seal keeps the inside of your garage clean despite the outside weather. Our garage door threshold kits are easy to install, and come complete with threshold, adhesive, and instructions. We offer 3 threshold brands, the Xtreme Weather Guard Threshold, the Storm Shield Threshold, and Tsunami Garage Door Threshold. Products are in stock, ship out same day or by next business day. .

Close of gaps and get a tight seal on your garage door by installing a garage door threshold kit. The Threshold Kits are easy to install, and come complete with threshold, adhesive, and instructions. The threshold is adhered to the floor where the garage door comes down. If you have an uneven floor that causes larger gaps in different areas of the door, you can offset the threshold installation so that the peak of the threshold meets the door at the high gap areas and the smaller gaps line up with the narrow part of the threshold.

Most threshold installations are installed with the hump on the inside of the door, so that the ramp part of the threshold is outside the door. During heavy rain the water will run down the door and away from the garage because of the threshold. Not all installs are equal, if you lay out the threshold and installing it with the hump just inside the door doesn't fix your problem, then you can install the threshold where the door comes down centered on the hump, or with the hump on the outside of the garage door. You should be able to determine the best install once you lay the threshold down before applying adhesive.
